Coins — Tokens

Coins

These are some of the many coins, tokens and blockchain projects we’ve looked at recently. Some of these we’ve gotten into awhile ago, others are still under consideration.

A few of these projects are probably not worth taking too seriously.

We’ll update and add to this regularly. Let us know if you’d like to see something covered.

What’s the Difference between Coins and Tokens?

Coins represent the native currency of their blockchain.
BTC is native to the Bitcoin network for example. SOL is native to Solana.

Tokens are built on top of an existing blockchain.
Many tokens use Ethereum’s network and built to their ERC20 Standard.

Chainlink (LINK) is an example of an ERC20 Token.
